Conference – New tourist offers at the Sanctuary
On 23 June 2026, a conference will be held in the St John Paul II Auditorium in Kalwaria Zebrzydowska to mark the launch of the project ‘New Tourism Initiatives at the Sanctuary in Kalwaria Zebrzydowska – a UNESCO World Heritage Site’.
The event will provide an opportunity to present the objectives of the project, which is being carried out with the support of the European Funds for Infrastructure, Climate and Environment 2021–2027 (FEnIKS) programme, aimed at developing an attractive and modern tourism offering for one of Poland’s most valuable sites of cultural and religious heritage.
The conference will address issues relating to the protection, preservation and promotion of the unique cultural and spiritual landscape of Kalwaria Zebrzydowska. The programme includes presentations by experts on topics such as UNESCO heritage, the protection of the cultural landscape, Włodzimierz Tetmajer’s polychromes, and contemporary challenges relating to the preservation and public access to the historic Calvary complex.
